Step 1

Take ties A and B and make a secure knot. This will sit on you're shoulder on the same side you are feeding.

Step 2

Slip your arm through the hole you have made.

Step 3

The elastic should fit against your waist and hip.

Step 4

Ties C and D should be secured on the opposite hip either with a knot or tucked into your waist band.

Step 5

Ensure that you are comfortable and that there is enough room for baby to fit beneath the cover if not, adjust the ties.

Place baby to breast and feed.

The Butterly is simple to use. It  covers the side you are feeding on as well as your side and back. You can either tie it on your waist , leave it open or tuck it in to your waist band.

Can I use the Butterfly if I feed in the rugby position?

You can still use the Butterfly if you are feeding in the rugby position, we would recommend you leave it untied and tuck the front across your baby and wrap the back around your babies legs.

Can the Butterfly be used as a sling?

The Butterfly hasn't been designed to carry a baby,  and  should never be used to carry your baby.

What is the size of the Butterfly?

The length at the bottom which goes round your hips is 57", this is elasticated so will stretch at least another 12",  and from the bottom to top is 32.3".

Can I feed twins with the Butterfly?

Most mothers of twins we have spoken to and worked with prefer to feed their babies individually whilst in public, so the Butterfly can still be used . However if you prefer to Tandem feed then it would not be possible.

The Butterfly is made of 100% cotton.

What temperature can I wash the Buttertfly at?

You can wash the Butterfly at 86 degrees F.

How long will delivery take?

You should receive your Butterfly within 2-5 days.
